EF-70 is a true combined face and iris recognition system that provides unprecedented subject ease of use in both face and iris modalities through a highly innovative and intuitive user positioning approach modalities.
In the iris recognition modality, with a working distance range of 40 to 70cm, the subject will intuitively and naturally move to the correct position by simply centering their face image and responding to distance cues from their face image in the system’s 5.0 inch display.

The intuitive user interface makes it easy and convenient for first time users. The subject simply centers his or her face within the capture box image, and then moves into the working distance range of 40 to 70 cm, indicated by distance color codes, a text message and vocalizations. Once within range, capture of both iris images simultaneously is automatic.
Typical iris-only capture times are under 1.0 second due to proprietary distance calculation and focus algorithms. The iris camera tilts over a range of +25 to -20 degrees, covering the height range of virtually all people.
